Kami...she is a big goof-ball these days. Based on Jon's parent's description of Jon in his youth, I'd say Kami is almost 100% a Jon clone, minus the gender. She is goofy all the time, likes to pull weird faces, laughs all the time about things she does that she finds hilarious. And then the other Jon trait: she's slow to get anything done. Courtney can be ready for school within 30 minutes. I have to have at least 1 hour for Kami. If she's headed to get her socks on, she gets destracted and starts playing with the little pet-shops, if she's supposed to be brushing her teeth, she's actually playing with the bubbles in the sink, if she's supposed to be getting her coat out of the closet, she's actually laughing uncontrollably about herself running into the wall and she can't stand up to get her coat because she can't stop laughing. But she also has Jon's trait of being a pleaser. No serious reprimand is ever needed with this child, one look, one comment about being disappointed, and she's remourseful. She finally loves Kindergarten, and life in the Hiatt home with Kami is never dull. We love our Kami!


This is Kami when she put her shirt on backwards. She came out into the living room laughing so hard at herself she couldn't stand up. I did manage to get this picture, though, after she caught her breath from laughing.


Kami-Bami was so tired, she fell asleep sitting up at the table, and check out the special blankies (there are 2 of them). Definite must haves for her!
